CPT Craig J. Darrenkamp
Captain Darrenkamp received his commission from the United States Army Reserve Officers Training Corps through Missouri Western State University, St. Joseph, Missouri 12 May 2009. He earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in 2006 and a Masters of Business Administration in 2009 from Benedictine College, Atchison, Kansas.
CPT Darrenkamp’s military education includes Army Combatives Level 1 Course, Basic Officer Leadership Course, Field Artillery Basic Officer Leadership Course, M109A6 Paladin Commander Course, and Signal Captain’s Career Course.
Captain Darrenkamp’s previous leadership assignments include 1st Battalion 16th Infantry Regiment (Company Fire Support Officer, Battalion Signal Officer) and Southwest Asia Cyber Center (Network Officer).
Captain Darrenkamp deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from 12 January 2011 to 25 November 2011 with 1st Battalion 16th Infantry Regiment serving as the Fires Officer for Special Operations Task Force West.
Captain Darrenkamp’s awards and decorations include: the Army Commendation Medal (1 x OLC), the National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal (2 x CS), the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, and the Overseas Service Ribbon NATO Medal.
Captain Darrenkamp is a native of Atchison, Kansas.
